This immersion trains you to deliver ten cornerstone Ayurvedic therapies including 2 and 4-hand Abhyanga, Swedana, Shirodhara, Shiroabhyanga, and targeted Bastis for pain management..., alongside core Ayurveda principles and client care. in addition, Daily SKY Breath Meditation, yoga, and meditation support practitioner resilience and a service mindset.
Certification is issued via our parent Institute of Ayurveda, Sri Sri Well-Being, in Bangalore, India. Graduates may practice in their community as per their local regulations and will be considered for work opportunities with Sri Sri Ayurveda Canada.

Frequently Asked Questions
How prepared will I be after this training to offer the techniques professionally?
The hands-on 2 week training plus the guided students hours post training together prepare you to get certified and start practicing confidently on people.
What are the student hours post training consisting of?
Students will be required to complete a certain number of therapies on practice clients and take feedback in order to complete certification requirements. For example students will be asked to complete 20 abhyangas, 5 shirodharas, etc. on their own practice clients.
What type of guidance can I expect post training
Our facilitators are available for answering questions and stay in touch with all graduates post training for continuous mentorship and guidance. We also offer opportunities for collaboration.
What can I do with this training?
You may decide to work in a spa as a bodywork practitioner or start your own space with direct client base. We also invite our graduates to come work at our retreat centre in peak times and some full-time positions are also available.
I don't want to change my career to Ayurveda, but I'm still interested, is this for me?
Certainly! While many of the graduates go onto working in the field, many also take the training for personal development. This training helps you strengthen your learning in Ayurveda, teaches you how to better care for yourself and your family and community members through bodywork and lifestyle practices.
I'm older, I'm not sure I'll be able to keep up, is this for me?
During the training, participants will be receiving therapies while giving and practicing. The training acts as a mini retreat for yourself as you get nourished with oil each day while practicing. Many people with slight health constraints choose to come and heal through this training!
Am I legally certified to practice post training?
Because Ayurveda is not a standardized profession in Canada yet, you will be responsible for staying up to date with local regulations in your province/country to ensure you meet the legalities to practice.

Nayna is the Director of Sri Sri Ayurveda Canada and an expert educator dedicated to empowering others through Ayurvedic wisdom. With over a decade of experience as a bodywork practitioner and wellness entrepreneur, she has guided thousands through transformative Panchakarma and holistic health practices.
A faculty member of the Art of Living Foundation since 2008, Nayna is known for making complex ancient concepts accessible and practical for modern life. She is passionate about training the next generation of Ayurveda professionals, equipping them with both clinical tools and the entrepreneurial skills needed to build successful wellness communities.
